Well, its almost been 3 years since I had this thing, and it has been through some interesting times.

I honestly don't know if I have the motivation to keep updating this thing. A lot of things have happened to me this past year, and this journal is just another hassel to deal with.

I'm contemplating deleting this altogether.

Barely a day after wallowing in my deep sadness, I get a call back from one of the jobs I applied to.

Wednesday morning is my damn interview. Wish me luck here because I REALLY NEED IT.

Moving on...

I just realized I'll be in San Francisco for 3 days next week. Monday-Tuesday for FastTrack Orientation with Courtney Arrieta(Another transfer and CB Alumni), and for the Warped Tour on Saturday. Good thing the weather isn't gonna be TRIPLE DIGITS.

er...I think thats it for now.

Now if you excuse me I need to go back to being frustrated at the fact that I can't draw ANYTHING and waste more than half my sketchpad and fill up the wastebasket and cursing at myself at the same time and I just realized that this is a REALLY REALLY long run-on sentence so I'm going to STOP.

I feel sorry for all the trees that sacrificed themselves at the expense of my passion. *sigh...*

June's here and I can finally relax(almost).

My dad got a new 80 GB Hard Drive for the laptop, and everything is back to normal-minus all the music I lost :'(.

I just realized how much crap I have in my room ranging from old textbooks from Loretto(which I couldn't sell anymore) to a lot of clothes that either are too big and have never seen the light of day. I think a trip to Goodwill is in order.

Well, back to endless errands....

Went to USF on Saturday for open house, and the whole trip only made me even more anxious to move there. In other words, I fucking love it. I'll talk about the whole thing nexttime.

I just realized that most of my posts from the last few months are anything but positive. anger, frustration, and stress, stress, STRESS. Oh, and the fact that my mom is borderlining to the point where she's wants to KILL ME. what else is new? We pretty much fight on any day that ends in "y". My dad is getting irritated with the both of us and shit, I dont blame him. I'm getting tired of my mom being pissed at me 24/7. She's not like me where I say whats bothering me. Another dull evening at the Catli household once again. Here I am once again updating and talking to a few friends while I contemplate about the next two weeks. By then, school is back in session. I wish it would hurry the fuck up cuz I'm kinda goin crazy here!! Yea I do have a few friends here, but all of them have jobs while I don't.

I have no patience. A big part of me wishes that I was at USF already, but of course, I gotta wait awhile. Hopefully the saying "Good things happen to those who wait" will come true for me since I'm the kind of person that likes things to happen NOW NOW NOW. I remember a conversation that I had with my dad last night about how he was when he was 18. This isnt EXACTLY word for word, but it's close enough.

"When I was your age, I was in Canada for 2 years already. Your grandparents didn't want me to get drafted in the army, so they sent me to Canada where you Uncles were. I remember fighting against them and trying my best to get out of the situation, but in the end I left. It was difficult leaving everything you knew behind in another world and adjusting to a new one agaisnt your own will. It's funny how now that you reached that age and you're anxiously want to leave to another city. The difference is that you have a set goal in mind of what you want to do with your life, and I really admire that. I had no damn clue what the hell I wanted to do at that time because I was FORCED to be indepedent. I know you're the type that likes to be on her own, exploring new things, being free from restriction. I know you want to go, but your time will come, and by then you'll be glad that you did wait. You're going to do great there."

It's comforting to get support from loved ones. It just helps me feel even more reassured that everything is ok.

Just killing some time and studying before I head over to school for the IAD(Intermediate Algebra Diagnostic Exam) so I can take stats next semester. There's no fucking way I'm gonna take Calc again. SCREW THAT!!

Five days since I updated this thing. Thats an improvement.

Right now I'm taking a break from my studies. Its a miracle that I actually developed study skills too.

Classes are still easy, but the homework load has been increasing since finals are next month, especially art class with 3 projects assigned, one of which is due tomorrow. Plus I also have a rough draft for my english paper due the next day. I really shouldn't be complaining since next semester is gonna SUCK ASS for me with the classes I'm going to take(except Japanese-Its time to step out of the French cycle). Oh yea, and all the fun papers I'll be writing too. AHAHAHAHAHA!! *dies*

Life so far has been far from boring. I've been spending more time with people I went to high school since I really don't have a connection with the people at Sac State. Brandon has been coming over lately to spend some time together(plus raiding the fridge for Mocha Frappuchinos from Starbucks). I also saw a few movies within the last month which were all pretty good: The Grudge(scary-the jaw thing scared the shit out of me), The Incredibles(Pixar kicks ass once again), and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason(Fucking hilarious). I'm also hoping to spend the weekend at SF with Ren since open house is on Saturday and both of us have been kicking around the idea for awhile(Ren, give me a call if you read this).

Three days to go until the Oath Ceremony. A few days close to dual citizenship...

FIRST OFF before I begin, I need to get this off my chest:

If you have a problem with me, TELL ME in PRIVATE. The last thing I need is to get my head fucking chewed off in public at 8:30 A.M with 4 hours of sleep. Not too many people have gotten to my bad side and trust me, you DO NOT want me to go there.

So lets see how college life has been so far: No change. Some people look like theyre having the time of their lives, and I'm oblivious to it all. Or the fact that NO ONE tells me anything for that matter. BLAH...

But the Causeway Classic is this Saturday at Davis. The weird thing is that its in the afternoon. How freakin random is that? Football games are better at night time. But don't expect me to be on Sac State's side, most of the people I know are going to Davis's side. Haha, how sad is that? This whole thing better be worth it or someone is gonna get it. And theyre better be some mad parties after that too...

TO ANYONE WHOSE STILL IN SAC-TOWN:

Funny. I've been hanging out more with high school friends than Sac State People. Wait, I didn't really meet anyone that I can hang out with on a whim. Causeway Classic is this weekend, then Homecoming two weeks after that. At least those are two things to look foreward to. Other than that, Campus Life is dry.

Started to look at the transfer process for USF and the application isn't due until February 1st, giving me a shitload of time until then. Plus side? No recommendation letters. All I gotta do is keep up my grades in my classes, and keep myself busy with some school activities. Or something. I dunno. I got a looong way to go...

Damn I'm so tired...but can't. Gotta read something for english...ew.

Just letting you know that I DID NOT fall off the face of existance. My family cut off with Earthlink recently and we just suscribed to Cable. So in the meantime, I'm using Marycon's computer to update this.

As time goes on, I'm begininng to feel more at ease at Sac State. Yes, driving and parking is still absolutely crappy, but now I have something to look foreward to everyday. I've meet more people in my LC and when it comes to school functions, I got new friends to chill with.

It's funny how everytime I swear myself that I won't meet anymore guys, they have to pop out of nowhere like damn DASIES!! There's this guy in my LC named Chris and he's a really nice guy(No relation to Erika even though they share the same last name). He's from Fremont and he seems pretty cool. Even though it's been barely a week, I've been getting vibes from him that are pretty damn obvious. But the thing is, I really don't want to be attached to anyone after the last few "fiascos" I had. Not to mention a few other issues I have going on that constantly pound me inside. Nun-hood sounds really good once again...

But what's too lose here? I'm a freshman in college!! Whatever. If it happens, it happens. If not, c'est la vie. But there's one thing I'm gonna put my foot down on: He's gotta do ALL the work. I ain't liftin a single finger whatsoever. Not like I've been doing any effort the last few times.

Well, I'm gonna go back home and finish my homework. Gotta wake up early once again...I think you all know the routine by now.

Sore, tired, aching, mellow, calm, happy. Pretty much feelin all of that right now.

Maroon 5 was kinda disappointing. But that was the only downside of the night :).

I just realized something. More than half my time is spent at Sac State or out with friends than staying at home. Not that I'm complaining or anything since it's been all good so and things are just gettin warmed up...

Probably gonna chill with my "twin sistah" Marycon tonight or something. If you wanna reach me, call me. In the meantime, homework.
